Handmade solid silver ring made from an antique silver spoon.
This ring displays the spoon's original hallmark on the outside and forms part of the design, it tells us the piece was first made in 1958 in Sheffield - it's 63 years old!
Each ring will be accompanied by a change of use certificate from The Assay Office and comes boxed and ready to give as a gift.

The ring measures 17.5mm at the highest point and 3.3mm at the lowest point.
Spoon rings originated in 17th century England and were originally used as wedding rings. Servants could not afford to have wedding rings made of precious metals so they would steal the silverware from the manor houses and have them turned into wedding rings. For a time you could tell who the servants were working for by the crest on their rings.
